The Indaw Mahar Guesthouse is directly located at the shore line of Indawgyi Lake, and opened in 1999 as temporary residency for local officials. The routinely renovated guesthouse has been hosting international guests since 2013. The 8 rooms are all of the same size and offer an incredible lake or village view. The common terrace is ideal to simply relax and enjoy a free tea or coffee with a fabulous view of the lake. The Indaw Mahar Guesthouse has a shared western style and a shared traditional Myanmar bath room. An immersion heater allows you to enjoy a hot bucket shower, and in case of a blackout a generator provides electricity in the evening hours.
