The Indawgyi Motel, formerly known as Indaw Thar Guesthouse, is located next to the local jetty and military checkpoint, and reopened after a renovation of the entire facility in early 2018. The 10 rooms vary from smaller single rooms with shared western style bath rooms to spacious triple rooms with a private western style bath room, a private terrace, and air-conditioning. The cosy rooms are equipped with soft beds, and the common terrace towards the lake invites you to meet other guests, or to lean back and read a book. The Indawgyi Motel has a generator to bridge temporarily occurring blackouts and you will also find emergency lights in each room.
